SPORTSMEN and women have been invited to challenge a bowling alley’s boss to win a free game. The ‘Beat The Boss’ events have been organised by AMF Bowling Peterborough, in Sturrock Way, Bretton.
Those who are victorious will win a free game for themselves and three of their friends. A spokesman for AMF Bowling said: “Our manager is a top tenpin bowler, but could you beat them to be Peterborough’s Kingpin?
“The centre is throwing its doors open to all wannabe winners every Tuesday lunchtime in November between 1pm and 2pm to all those who dare. “We Brits are a competitive bunch. A survey conducted by AMF Bowling reveals that 88 per cent of us believe competition is healthy.
“It isn’t just the boss that we want to hammer - line managers and the colleague we sit next to are the people we Brits most want to beat, gaining a third of the vote each. “If you fancy bringing out the competitive streak in your workmates and showing them exactly who is the boss then look no further. “Don’t miss your chance to show them who really is the Kingpin.”
AMF Bowling Peterborough is also taking bookings for their Beat the Boss Christmas parties which include two games of bowling, a festive buffet, a bucket of WKD for every lane along with prizes and awards, all for £19.95 per person.
