Kuma War is a free and episodic first and third-person shooter video game. According to its site, it "is a series of playable recreations of real events in the War on Terror," and they've already updated the series with an episode detailing the biggest catch of all thus far: Osama bin Laden.
It's Mission 107: The Death of Osama bin Laden and was released today, May 7. The company describes the mission as follows: Kuma War 2 had been mostly retired. The developers, Kuma Games, felt they absolutely had to create the defining mission for the game before its complete retirement. it took them, obviously, less than a week to do so.
Although, just as with any other episode in the series, a player can play on either side, a player cannot play as Osama bin Laden directly. Those playing on a SEAL have a number of additional tasks to do, in addition to killing bin Laden. They must also take his body with them, find critical intelligence to "end Al-Qaida" and destroy the downed U.S. helicopter in the compound.
Meanwhile, if you start out as a defender your only goal is to protect bin Laden. All but one of the defenders in the game start out unarmed, but the compound is full of easy to find weapons.
Kuma War 1 was a military third-person shooter utilizing the N-Fusion game engine. Kuma War 2, which the bin Laden raid episode uses, is a first-person shooter (although it can be seen in third-person) using the Valve's Source game engine.
