Freebie Trading: a Realistic Home Business That Works

Posted in : Gossips

(added 9 days ago)

If you're like most people, you're probably looking for ways to earn some extra cash, or maybe you've been laid off from your job and you need a way to earn some money on which to live. Maybe you're just tired of the rat race and want to ditch the long commute to work.

Regardless of which category you're in, you've probably tried one or two "income opportunities" and have been disappointed to find out that they're either scams or completely unworkable for you in your current situation.

I was in your shoes not too long ago, until I stumbled across an a site that talked about how an average person could make some real money on the Internet. That site was about how to make money with freebie trading.

Freebie trading? Huh? You're probably scratching your head and wondering what I'm talking about.

What Is Freebie Trading Exactly?

Freebie trading is the system by which people generate an income by working freebie sites. What are freebie sites? Freebie sites or incentivized freebie websites (IFWs) are internet marketing websites that contain many advertisements(offers) for different products and services. The freebie site or IFW is paid a commission each time an individual signs up to receive these products and services through that site.

So How Do People Make Money?

People make money with freebie trading because the freebie site offers incentives to those who sign up for offers on their site and send other people there (referrals) who also complete offers. These incentives can take the form of a cash prize or a tangible item, like a laptop or a big screen TV.

Fulfilling the offer requirements of a freebie site is also known as "going green" or "greening" in freebie-speak. Most freebie sites only require that you, yourself, "go green" once, and after that, will allow you to collect prizes from them over and over again, an unlimited amount of times.

How Do I Make Money By Being A Referral (Completing Offers)

People who work freebie sites for a living (freebie traders) will pay you to sign up under them and complete the offer requirements (go green) so that they can get get paid (collect their incentive prize) by the freebie site quickly and efficiently.

Most freebie traders will pay you between $10-150 to "go green." How much you are paid for a given site is determined by the difficulty of the site's offer requirements and the value of the prize. A fair measure of what you should be paid is half of the per referral value of the prize. Many traders will pay you more than this for the more difficult sites.

How Can The Trader Afford To Pay Me To Complete Offers?

It's really pretty simple:

Once you have completed your offer requirements "gone green" on a freebie site, that site is now "yours" and you are given a referral link through which you can refer other people to this site to complete the offer requirements just as you did. Once you have obtained enough referrals who have "gone green," you will get paid by the site, usually a cash prize, or if you picked a tangible item like a tv or xbox 360, the site will send this to you by mail.

As an example, let's say that you picked $30 Paypal cash as your prize, and the site requires that you get 1 referral for it. This means that you get $30 per referral. So you pay each referral $15 to complete offers (go green) for you on this site and you profit $15. The real beauty of the system is that once you've collected that first $30, you can send more new referrals to that site and collect $30 for each one over and over again, forever...without ever having to complete any additional offers.

Ok...Wait A Minute...What Do They Get Out Of it?

You may be wondering where the freebie sites/IFWs are getting the money to pay people, since it may appear that they are paying out more money than they are receiving in commissions. So where do the IFWs and their sponsors get their money?

In actuality, the world of incentivized freebie marketing is quite profitable, both to the freebie site and to the advertisers who run the offers for two main reasons: the first is that many people will end up keeping a product or service because they like it or because they just forgot to cancel. The advertiser makes money, either way, and gets word of mouth advertising to boot from the people who tried the product or service and liked it enough to keep it. The second is the concept of attrition, and this benefits the freebie sites themselves.

Attrition happens when someone signs up at a freebie site, starts completing offers, but never completely fulfills the offer requirements. The freebie site gets paid a commission for the offers that were completed, but because the offer requirements were not met, does not pay out the prize.

A freebie from Golden Earring

Posted in : Freebie News

(added 11 days ago)

Veteran Dutch rockers Golden Earring are offering a free download from their new album. If you haven't heard them, you don't know what you've missed. Golden Earring burst onto the English language music scene in 1973 with their Moontan album and massive single Radar Love, but they were veterans even then, having been founded in 1961, 8 years before UFO!

Lead guitarist George Kooymans and bass/keyboard player Rinus Gerritsen are founder members while Barry Hay and Cesar Zuiderwijk have been there nearly as long. Chances are you'll have heard Radar Love, but it is hard to believe that is actually the weakest track on this vastly under-rated album. Of the 5 tracks, the epic Are You Receiving Me is unquestionably the strongest, but to date...the band have recently sent out an e-mail that reads as follows: Voor Nederlands, scroll down.

Tits n Ass give away
To celebrate the upcoming release of our new album we are offering you a free single download! Get your free voucher by sending us an e-mail: info@golden-earring.nl, subject "voucher" and within 24 hours you will get an e-mail back with your unique download link to get "Still Got The Keys To My First Cadillac" from "Tits N Ass" totally free! Be quick, we only have a few downloads available!

The 10 Best Airport Freebies

Posted in : Freebie News

(added 15 days ago)

While stuck inside one of these 10 airport terminals -- which you could easily mistake for a shopping mall -- it doesn't take a specific type of traveler to appreciate complementary offerings like a free city tour, some Wi-Fi or a kids play area.

Although the above freebies are uncommon in many international airports, most frequent fliers know when and where to get the most valuable free commodities.

Even though some of the most unique freebie options may be exclusive to a specific airport, these days there is typically at least one thing that the airports offer up to show their appreciation for your business and loyalty. So what are the best freebies available? Here's a look at both domestic U.S. airports and those further afield.

Domestic Airports
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport: The Bob Hope USO lounge, named after one of America's greatest comedians and a Cleveland native, is available to traveling U.S. Military Service Men and Women and their families. It is located on the North end of the airport's baggage claim level, adjacent to Carousel 1 and is open daily from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. (EST). The USO, free for all service men and women, provides a place to grab a snack, email a loved one, read a book, watch a movie, or just find some quiet time on a travel day.

Chicago O'Hare International Airport: The interfaith Airport Chapels of Chicago offers passengers a place for silent prayer, as well as a place for worship and liturgies, free of charge. Located inside O'Hare International, the chapel can be found on the Mezzanine Level of Terminal 2 above the US Airways ticket counters (outside the security checkpoint).

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport: Sky Harbor welcomes pets and service animals at free pet parks near each of their three terminals. The airport is very animal friendly as an assortment of animals can be spotted at the airport each day welcoming, bidding goodbye to, or traveling with close friends and loved ones. Sky Harbor has three areas for pets to stretch their legs, drink water and take potty breaks (mitts for cleaning up provided). The Pet Patch is located just east of Terminal 2. The Paw Pad is located just outside of the west doors of Terminal 3. The Bone Yard is on the west side of Terminal 4 just outside of baggage claim, level 1.

Boston Logan International: If you are traveling in Boston with children, be sure to check out Logan International's play areas, also known as Kidport. The Kidport play areas offer a fun-filled space for little travelers and give parents and caregivers a place to unwind before or after a flight.

Kansas City International - Airport Ambassadors at the Kansas City International Airport are dedicated volunteers collectively spending over 10,000 hours a year warmly greeting travelers. They are easily distinguished by their brick-red blazers and welcoming smiles. KCI Airport Ambassadors provide free directions, offer assistance and respond to inquiries. They also provide information on transportation, hotels, dining, shopping, area attractions and points of interest. It's almost like having your very own travel agent.

International Airports
Tallinn, Estonia: In April 2011, the first free Skype video chat booth popped up at Tallinn's airport, and you can use it to make unlimited, free video calls worldwide. If the line is too long, you can send an e-mail from 14 free Internet kiosks or hook up your laptop through the airport's free Wi-Fi.

Changi International Airport: Changi Airport is well known for its wide range of facilities and services to keep passengers occupied while waiting for their connecting flights. The Entertainment Deck, located on Departure Transit Lounge, Level 3 of Terminal 2 (next to the Sunflower Garden), is a one-stop integrated, multi-media entertainment centre with something to thrill everyone from X-Box to Sony PlayStation and an MTV booth that screens your favourite music videos on a 50-inch plasma television.

Calgary International Airport: Calgary International offers two free-access lounges where passengers can enjoy beautiful surroundings, business facilities, and refreshments.  The Servisair Chinook Lounge is open to all guests departing from Concourse D and the Rocky Mountain Lounge is open to all guests departing from Concourse C (U.S. departures). Enjoy all the benefits of an executive lounge, regardless of what airline you are flying. Treat yourself to your own personal upgrade!

Hong Kong:  Sony PlayStation gaming systems are scattered throughout the terminals at Hong Kong International Airport. Located in the arrivals and departures halls and past security on the north and south concourses, it's never been so easy to play around in an airport.

Taipei Taoyuan: The Taiwan Tourism Bureau offers free morning and afternoon city tours of Taipei from the airport. The morning tour visits an ancient temple and a pottery-making center; the afternoon tour visits another temple, Taiwan's tallest skyscraper and the home of Taiwan's president, Ma Ying-jeou.

Freebies for Everyone

Posted in : Gossips

(added 24 days ago)

Many firms are giving away a freebie so they can attract people to their web site. They are giving away free sweepstakes, free baby stuff, free samples, etc. What is happening to all this free stuff? It's loosing it's perceived value. Every time you surf the internet or check your e-mail you see at least 10 to 50 freebies offers.Don't get me wrong freebies do increase traffic, but not like they did when the internet was new. The key is to increase the perceived value of your freebies so they will be more attractive to your audience. How do you do this? Well, here are eight ways:

1. You would tell them what the freebie is worth with
a dollar amount. For example, "try our
tooth whitening solution! A $19 value!"

2. You could add other freebies to your freebie that

will increase the value. For example, "Subscribe to
my freebies site and get free access to our "subscribers
only" private web site!"

3. You could tell them the freebie is only available for
a limited time. For example, "If you win, you will also
receive a $5,000 gas card. Your opinions matter! Limited
time offer.

4. You could tell them the freebie is only available to
a limited number of people. For example, " Our free
software will only be available for the next 150 people
that download it."

5. You should give more details about the freebie.
List the benefits, features, what problems the freebie
will solve, etc.

6. You may describe your freebie to sound more
attractive. For example, instead of "free report" you
could say "free never released top secret document"

7. You could list testimonials for your freebie. Most
businesses don't give testimonials for their freebies.
This would defiantly increase your freebies value.

8. You might tell people how many people have
already receive your freebie. For example, "15,000
people have already subscribed to my free e-book!
Can they all be wrong?

Earth Day Freebie

Posted in : Gossips

(added 25 days ago)

Earth day is Sunday, April 23 and since I like to Create Really Awesome Free Things I figured Earth day needed a some free love. I wish I could claim I made this clever little saying up, but I most certainly stole it and it's stuck in my head (kid's t-shirt?). Anywho, I googled "owl doodle" and found this fun site. I doodled one the owls, took a picture and uploaded it to Microsoft word. I made most of my printables in Word. (I know, I know... we even have Photoshop on our computer!). I printed and framed it, added it to the wall of fame frames :) I might even get a map pencil and color it in a little.

Earth Day Freebie

Microsoft Word has handy tool that lets you remove the background from any image. I use it a lot. See it highlighted in this pic... Then, just pull the box around your entire image. It sometimes takes a little maneuvering, but so far I always make it work.OH yea the font I used is called MTX XOXO Vol @ and you can download it for free here.

Earth Day freebies and deals

Posted in : Freebie News

(added 28 days ago)

Earth Day turns 43 on April 22, and the event started by U.S. Sen. Gaylord Nelson in 1970 continues to grow in popularity and impact. In fact, Earth Day has gained such widespread acceptance that major retailers and beloved brands now get in on the act.  That's good news not just for the environment but for all of us as consumers, too. Freebies and sales abound, and we've gathered the best of the lot here.

Free reusable bag from Target
In what's becoming an annual rite of spring passage for Target, the company is giving away one reusable Target bag per shopper on April 22. Head to your nearest store and visit the Guest Service desk to claim yours. We love Target bargains, and their freebies are even more on point.

Free reusable bags from Kellogg's
If you can't make it to Target on April 22, consider earning yourself a series of reusable shopping bags from Kellogg's. While you'll need to have purchased any two Kellogg's cereals or Kellogg's Pop-Tarts (10 ounces or larger) to earn a freebie, toting around a '60s-inspired Kellogg's print is almost priceless. Just fill out a short form (.pdf file), and you can start collecting all four. Think of all the plastic bags you won't ever need.

Free Origins skin cleanser
Bring one of your current skin-care products (either full or empty) to any Origins counter, and they'll swap it out for a full-size sample of one of their gentle, high-performance cleansers. Visit your local Origins store to receive either A Perfect World SPF 25 Age-defense moisturizer with white tea or the Starting Over Age-erasing moisturizer with mimosa. What's more, all cosmetic packaging collected will be recycled or responsibly converted to energy through the Return to Origins Recycling Program.

Free greenery and scenery at the national parks
The National Park Service is offering free admission to all 397 national parks to celebrate Earth Day and National Park Week, April 21-29. If you miss out now, mark down June 9 (Get Outdoors Day) as the next day for free admission sponsored by the park service.

Free sunflower seeds from Pottery Barn Kids
In association with National Geographic, Pottery Barn Kids is giving away free packets of sunflower seeds on April 21 and 22. Just head to your local store to pick up your Helianthus annuus seeds, then get planting.

20% off Earth-friendly toys at BN.
Recycle the old notion that eco-friendly toys involve just a cardboard refrigerator box and some string. Barnes & Noble knows that a jungle playroom full of Animalz is more fun. You'll find an assortment of kids' toys and games marked down 20% to celebrate Earth Day. Plus, you get receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more. Freebie Offers Click on Tax Day

Posted in : Freebie News

(added a month ago!)

A record number of marketers want you to spend Tax Day 2012 on their Facebook pages printing coupons for free stuff.

Then, they want you to be a big spender -- maybe even with some of your tax refund -- when you walk in to claim your freebies.

In what's become an annual but odd rite of spring, marketers of products from fast food to office supplies again are latching onto consumer sentiments of relief, frustration and fear on Tax Day in the hopes that freebies or deals will lure you in to buy something.

This year's twist: Many are prodding consumers to first "like" them on their Facebook pages in order to enter and print free coupons there. "Every brand is trying to grow its community on Facebook," says Jenny McCabe, spokeswoman at Seattle's Best, which will mail 100,000 free coffee samples in response to Facebook requests.

Odds are, it will be a hit. "When does 'free' not work?" asks management consultant Pam Murtaugh. Which may be why -- shortly before, during and after April 17, the date taxes are due this year -- marketers are offering these deals at participating locations (see Facebook pages for restrictions):

Freebie eats. Arby's will hand out curly fries. Chili's offers a free appetizer or dessert. MaggieMoo's has a free scoop of frozen yogurt. Panda Express will hand out free servings of its new Shanghai Angus Steak. Chevy's is doling out free chicken taquitos. And Cinnabon gives out two free Cinnabon Bites per customer.

Meal deals. P.F. Chang's offers 15% discounts on meals. Boston Market's got a free meal for those who buy one -- and a drink. And Bruegger's sells Tax Day Big Bagel Bundles (13 bagels and two tubs of cream cheese), for (wink, wink) $10.40.

Free relaxation. For the fourth-consecutive year, consumers can get free 10-minute massages at HydroMassage, which has pulled in as many as 200,000 consumer requests via the promotion in past years, President Paul Lunter says.

Freebie services. For penny-pinching, last-minute filers, Office Depot offers this bargain: free copying of up to 25 pages.

Then, there's Pizza Hut. Late in the evening of April 17, in six major U.S. cities, it will deliver free pizzas to select offices of the folks who may need an energy boost most: H&R Block tax preparers and their last-minute clients.

We pay fitness freebie

Posted in : Freebie News

(added a month ago!)

Tender documents show the department's 1300 employees get a swag of freebies to keep healthy and fit. A three-year tender for $767,546.85 was awarded to corporate health specialists Trench Health and Fitness in February.

We pay fitness freebie

Documents show Department of Housing workers will get free sporting and recreational events including yoga, Pilates and boxing as well as free flu vaccines and weight-management programs. Free blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose 4checks will also be available. Housing Minister Troy Buswell said yesterday that other government organisations also offered the freebies.

"This program, and its per-unit cost, is entirely consistent with programs offered by both other government organisations as well as organisations in the private sector," Mr Buswell said. "It is appropriate that contemporary employers invest in the health and wellbeing of their employees, and local and international research shows this investment generates benefits for both parties."

But shadow treasurer Ben Wyatt said he could not see how providing free yoga and Pilates classes helped improve frontline services. He also said the freebies were farcical in light of claims by the Community and Public Sector Union that the privatisation of public-housing maintenance work had not delivered $20 million in promised savings.

There were claims that there were more than 12,000 outstanding job orders for repair or maintenance, including 1573 tenants waiting for crucial emergency work. "We support measures like staff health checks and health monitoring," Mr Wyatt said.

"Mr Buswell needs to explain why taxpayers should be paying for weekly yoga, Pilates and boxing for fun programs at the cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars and how these programs improve frontline services.

"At a time when the focus is on the minister and the Department of Housing and the botched privatisation deal with Transfield, of which not one dollar of the promised $20 million of savings has been realised, this sort of waste will not sit well with the public."
